Computer in Education

As computer is a versatile machine, it is used in several sector. It is used in education sector also.
Computer is used in education in different ways. It is used for distance learning, virtual classroom, demonstrating some experiments through computer applications(like heart beat, cell division) which is quite difficult to display by practically.

So the process of learning or gaining education using a computer is termed as CAL (Computer Aided Learning)

As the use of internet is worldwide, students are not limited to school/college library for gaining extra knowledge. They can use the computer to surf the net and get the information what they need.

Not only college students, computer is used for learning. It is used even for small children for giving education. It is used to give information to such children like the movements of some animals, their sound etc so that they can easily identify such animals.
